Low Profile Parallel Fan Powered Air Terminal Unit
The FVL-600 Parallel Fan Powered Terminal Unit is designed to provide superior comfort control to zones with both heating and cooling requirements throughout the year.
The FVL-600 regulates varible volume cooling through the primary air valve. The primary air valve controls the volume of cooled air that is discharged into the space. In a parallel fan powered unit, the primary air does not pass through the fan.When heating is required, the FVL-600 initially provides plenum air that is drawn through the induction inlet. This is the economical way of heating a space using the waste heat located in ther ceiling plenum. As additional heat is required, optional electric or hot water reheat can be turned on to meet the load rerquirements of the zone. The fan in a parallel fan powered terminal only runs when space conditions call for heat. When heat is required, the fan provides a constant discharge volume into the space, and uniform air motion.
